I wanted to write this blog because of something thats been on my mind recently. It has to do with how I have grown as a photographer and how I present my images. Last weekend I went up to Donnelly Idaho and experienced one of the best sunsets I've seen in a long time. To most people when they start out the most exciting thing to do is to photograph a sunset, edit it all colorful and contrasty then post it. I was definitely what I did for long time.
It's important to know when not to post images that don't fit with your current style. The images I took were wonderful and to many a great photograph but I just didn't find that it made the cut. Being critical like this is hard but by knowing what you want to get and what you will get makes you not only a better photographer but a more efficient one.
